Pulp wood from the forest and chips from the sawmill are cooked to become kraft pulp and CTMP at Östrand pulp mill, situated close to SCAs extensive forests in northern Sweden.

There, the pulp is tailored to suit the production of different products. Our three product groups are called Celeste, Star and Cirrus.

SCA Östrand is certified according to Environmental Management Tool ISO 14001, Quality Management System ISO 9001 and Energy Management System 50001.

We also have FSC and PEFC chain of custody and can deliver FSC and PEFC certified pulp.
